Movement of your body is essential to good health. Walking, dancing, going up and down stairs, stretching, cleaning your home, active playing with your kids....all of these are different ways to move your body. And, done mindfully or with a sense of freedom (as you might do in dancing) and done regularly, you will not only promote physical health but mind-body-spirit health as well. And a meditation practice is like exercise for the mind, body and spirit - it's good mental hygiene, daily.

For me, in addition to the aforementioned movements, it's kundalini yoga*. My experience with this yoga and meditation practice has been enormously freeing, in a fast way, and has allowed me to get in touch with that inner voice that actually has all the answers. You might call this your inner compass or your true north.
I share this practice because it has been the most effective, efficient and elevating sort of movement and meditation I've experienced. I can't keep it to myself-- I get to share it, with much gratitude, with anyone interested in delving deeper in order to live a life you were born to love. |

What you will need for class:
- a yoga mat,
- bolster/pillow/blanket for more comfortable seated postures (as needed), and
- water.
- Plus, of course, the technology to join me by Zoom.
The subtle transformations in my being and ability to DO was actually not subtle at all. Small shifts and sudden a-ha moments create permanent elevations in the psyche, lifting you up and over blocks and limiting beliefs, one hurdle at a time. If you're looking to find and build your inner strength, soothe your nervous system, connect the dots of your Self and your life and beyond, I understand completely. With each barrier you knock down, the more confidence you gain and the more you're able to see a barrier and know you can knock it down. Like building muscles in your body, it takes a certain level of desire and commitment to practice. Just get to the first shift and the second one looks more in reach, and on and on.
My guidepost for delivering the practice of kundalini yoga is to help clients hear their own truth and trust in themselves. If any teacher of this practice makes you second-guess yourself or distrust in your instincts, even well-meaning teachers, you must question it. If your instincts feel rusty in certain areas of your life, a good teacher can guide you back to your own wisdom, not tell you what to do. A good teacher can offer you suggestions and questions to ask yourself and how to hear your own answer. Kundalini yoga is known as the Yoga of Awareness-- and the basis of this is Self-Sovereignty. You are the Queen or King of Who You Are (Self). And this practice will help you to believe and trust in this Truth.
