Parenting is an opportunity to learn not only how to raise your kids but also how to raise your inner child based on the parent you want to be.
Relationships are designed to help you see yourself better. Your relationship with a child brings even more clarity-- whether you like what you see or not. The mirror our children show us can often be disheartening at best. We know our children are resilient and we get many opportunities to "do better next time". Preparing for next time is our challenge and a gift to us. Our inner child is resilient too and deserves better and better and better with each challenge presented. These are the gems in life-- our lessons. |
